Fortepianos
Forerunner of the modern piano, built from the 18th to the early 19th century.
Its leather-covered hammers strike thinner strings than those of today's piano, in a wooden case without an iron frame. It is the instrument of the repertoire of Haydn, Mozart and early Beethoven.
